Honduran Mahogany back & sides with a one piece old growth western red cedar top. Koa bridge, fretboard and headstock veneer and maple binding. Abalone fret markers @5,7,9,12,15,17 & 19th frets, bone saddle and nut. Laminated sides (under regular thickness sides) spruce bracing, and a K&K Pure Mini under bridge pickup. Lower bout-15″ wide, upper bout 15″, overall length 39 1/2″, depth of body at lower bout 3 3/4″. Gotah tuners, John Pearse 15-60 Weissenborn strings and a Access gig bag. The one piece cedar top is an exceptional piece of wood, over 600 growth rings across it, it came from a giant tree that fell on a nearby highway a few years ago in the Cascade mountains. Aside from its natural beauty, it sounds amazing!
Oregon Myrtlewood sides and back and Port Orford Cedar top Hawaiian acoustic steel guitar, aka Weissenborn guitar. The binding, bridge, fretboard, rosette and headstock veneer is also myrtlewood. Myrtlewood and Port Orford cedar are endemic to the southern Oregon coast, besides being excellent tone woods, they are beautiful to look at, and the cedar has an amazing fragrance (and tone!). Spruce bracing, laminated sides along with the regular thickness myrtle sides. A K&K Pure Mini under bridge pickup, abalone fret markers at the 5.7.9.12.15.17 & 19th frets. Gotah black chrome tuners strung with John Pearse Weissenborn strings 15-60. A Access soft case included.

Maple pot, English walnut neck and black walnut root headstock veneer and rim trim, all local wood. Fitted with Nyl-gut strings (nylon). Gotah tuners, Access bag/case. This banjo has a couple of cosmetic issues, nothing that effects it’s playability. I’m new to banjo making, so I’m asking just a little bit more then it cost me to buy the hardware to move it and pay for the hardware for more.
