About

I make guitars in my shop located in the Lake Chelan valley in the eastern foothills of the North Cascades, in Washington state. I’m self taught and have been making things out of wood for many years, from our house & shop to furniture, and spent years pursuing woodturning and sculpture. Almost ten years ago I decided to attempt making a guitar. I’d hemmed and hawed for a few years about trying, deciding it wouldn’t be possible until I just did, and have been focused on it ever since. Most of the wood I use is local and regional, much of it destined as waste, cut down due to age, development or natural causes. I thoroughly enjoy finding, harvesting and processing it, then making it into musical instruments.

My current models are a Triple O, OM, Medium Jumbo, a large bodied acoustic bass and the Weissenborn. Please contact me if you’d like to have me make you a guitar.
